Hi. Thanks for the comment. It works for me. I am testing with latest versions of Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Internet Explorer and everywhere shows the code.
What browser are you using? Could you try with another one to see if it will work there?

I added a title attribute to each emoticon image in the palette, so now when you point them with the mouse their name will appear. If you are having trouble recognizing them without the animation, this should help.

Tool’s good but some of the emoticons just don’t work with 5·7 for Mac
it changed my pic as i made the window different sizes…

Hi. Yes you are right. When the window is resized things are changing. It should work with default size or bigger window in Skype 4 and above versions just fine. But for Skypes before 4 it will come up all wrong unless they make the window bigger.
I could add in the future the option to use less columns and rows so it fits in the older skype default window size, but for now it is only this size.

The tool now has the (oliver) emoticon as well. Also a bug in Opera browser regarding the black border surrounding the choosen icon is now fixed. And another bug in Internet Explorer is fixed. It is possible that the bug with the Show Code button that some people experienced in Chrome to be fixed too I just am not sure because I was never able to recreate it in my Chrome.

I can’t seem to do this. I use Rockmelt which is essentially chrome
but everything I click on I get a box appear saying something unidentified btw I was trying to make a flag
eg normal code (flag:de)

I found the problem. Some of the changes I made recently don’t seem to work properly on some browsers including Chrome. I should have tested them in more than one browser.

Hi. Thanks man. I have made a note in my file for things to do for the site that says to make the tool with different sizes. But of course there are many, many other things to work on and I am only one man :). I am not making excuses, I am just saying all will happen in time. I am working every day (except Saturday) to improve my site in all kinds of ways and slowly but surely it becomes better and more popular as well.

Hi. It is already there – fifth column, fifth line :).
It works for me and I love it

I remade the tool a little so it loads the emoticons faster. Now instead of loading 98 small icons it will load 5 bigger files that include 20 emoticons each. This way there will be only 5 download requests to the server and this will greatly improve the page load speed.
Basically you must not see any changes on the surface except faster loading of the page. I tested the changes but if there are any bugs and errors please let me know in the comments.
Also I fixed a bug with the dancing emoticon. Before when you use it it would make the result code unusable. The “\” was making problems since it it used in programming as a special symbol and the program was thinking that \o/ was some kind of command (instead of normal text). Anyways, I fixed it.

Hi me and my friend, Paige have been talking on skype and making the art patterns we have been making them for 6 hrs straight no stoping and been talking on Skype for 7 hours straight no stoping.

You will be happy to hear then, that I am working on new features for the tool. One is to have 20 by 20 sheet which will work when the other person is on full screen Skype. The other feature is much more complicated and is supposed to convert a simple image file (for example of an heart or another drawing) into emoticon art AUTOMATICALLY! It is still not done but it seems promising :).

Hi. Its just all the Skype emoticons. I have even censored the WTF icon, so basically not bad word is anywhere on the site. If someone is young enough and does not know what the f word means, they will not find out from here, because it is not even written anywhere, it is just the first letter. This is why I think there is no problem.
This is soooo cool. Its amazing but it would be cool if we could download it straight onto our desktop. My computer is weird, Skype always works but my internet browser always stuffs up so I have to keep restarting it. And I think this website is blocked at school so I can’t send it on Skype to my friends. Just a suggestion… Its awesome btw! ;D

Hi. Thanks for the comment. The thing with the blank is a little tricky, because when you remove emoticons, for example the first 3 from the first line, in order to make another shape, the next icons just appear there. So if you leave something blank, it breaks the whole image. It has to have something there. It has to me at least an interval (or how its called, the space bar). It actually might work it any amount of spaces have the exact width of an emoticon. I will have to test it. I am righting it down.
I am almost done with the other changes. Making the automatic image to emoticon conversion was quite hard. Took me much more time than expected. Still working on it. But it is AWESOME.

Hi. There is no such feature at the moment, but you can do it manually. I don’t think there is enough room to write words in there though. The Skype window is not very big enen in full screen. Maybe only for 3 letter words.

Hello! I was hoping for an ability to make (or modify) the small icons for Skype. Maybe I’m not doing it correctly, but these fill the entire Skype screen.

Hi. Thanks for the comment. The tool makes bigger pictures out of smaller pictures (the emoticons). Then you can send the bigger picture to someone on Skype by sending the code :). It cannot be used for what you described. I am sorry if part of the title has mislead you. I tried to describe the tool as best as possible in the title.
I made a quick search in Google for what you seek and in several places it says that it is not possible. It could be done with some kind of additional software but I am not aware if it exists.

Could you also try to completely delete all history and cookies and cache and so on on one of the browsers and try again.

Hi. I do not know what exactly is being hacked but you should run a full scan with a strong and updated antivirus. You ca download a 30 day free version of norton internet security and use it to delete the viruses. You can contact the skype team if your skype is hacked.
By the way found a situation in which the tool would not work and I fixed it. It was when you leave a comment or click a comment links. This changed the URL to not the default one. I hope this is the issue some of you were having. Let me know.

OK, the plan is working, I got like 200 emails with the error :D. I saw where it is, but I still don’t know what causes the error. I have stopped one of the invisible security protections for now so it does not show the error. When I find the problem I will enable the protection again. So basically now it should work fine.

Also I hear there is some kind of shark for facebook, but don’t seem to find for Skype.
